Larry Wills Obituary
LARRY L. WILLS, 76 of Charleston, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 8, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.
After retiring from WV Workers Compensation Department, he spent part of his time enjoying working at the Southridge Chick-Fil-A, volunteering with CAMC General and Memorial hospitals and working on his family ancestry. He really enjoyed cruising and traveling with his family that he loved so very much. He was a member of the Charleston (WV) Parkinson's Support Group and the Basillica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Charleston, WV.
He is preceded in death by parents Roger Park and Georgeann Marie Wills, grandparents Ananias (Hazel) Wills, and George Williams (Anna Agnes Nagle) Nephews Matthew Brown, John and Jason Daniels.
He is survived by his beloved fur baby Maddie Mae, sisters Amy Brown (Jimmy) of Pinch WV, Sally Dingess (Harry) of Charleston, WV and Lynn Daniels (Larry) of Tornado, WV. Also surviving are three generations of nieces and nephews who thought he was the best and most loving uncle they could ever ask for.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., with service at 3 p.m., on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview, WV.
No graveside service at this time as Larry's wish was "to be cremated and laid to rest beside mom and dad" in Mount Olivet cemetery Charleston, WV

I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We worked together many years at Workers' Comp and he was a wonderful guy with a sense of humor. He was so nice and friendly to everyone and was so well liked. He will be missed by all of his previous co-workers and friends. Prayers for all those that knew him and his family. May he rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened by Larry's passing. Worked with him at Workers' Compensation. He reminded me of Mr. Wilson from Dennis the Menace. I dubbed him Mr. Wilson for as long as I worked with him. Larry was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Rest in peace Mr. Wilson.
