Lora L. Fields

On the morning of Wednesday, August 28th our beloved LORA L. FIELDS, 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior while in the company of her family. Lora was born in Dunbar, on October 20, 1965, and was the daughter of the late Gary and Mary Tinsley. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and worked at Garlow Insurance for 16 years. Lora loved coffee, flamingos, North Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge, and boat rides. She was a member of Genesis Fellowship in South Charleston. Lora leaves behind her husband of 34 years, David Fields of Dunbar, WV, daughters Jessica (Jeff) Mink of Buffalo, WV, Katie (Gary) Nelson, and Hannah (Hunter) Williams of Dunbar, WV, and 7 grandchildren: Isabel, Gracie, Tucker, Charlee, Rylee, Luna and Dean. She also leaves behind sisters Kathy Hollis, Sally (John) Finchum, and Rebecca (Brian) Holley, as well as several nieces and nephews. Honoring Lora's wishes, she will be cremated, and a Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 7th at the South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene, 4923 Kentucky St., South Charleston, WV 25303. Visitation will begin at noon with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Pastor Rick Pursley and Paul Fulknier will be officiating.
