Mark Allen Moss

MARK ALLEN MOSS, of Sissonville, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on October 3, 1959, he was the beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Wilma Moss; his brother, Noble Moss Jr.; and his nephew, Justin Wysong, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and other extended family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 47 years, Patricia (Patty) Moss; his sons, Josh Moss and Michael Moss (Jessica); grandchildren, Lexton Moss, Shelby Halstead, Harley Moss, and Kylie Moss; nieces, who were like daughters, Mackenzie and Zoe Moss; bonus son Robert (Bobby) Piscopo; brothers, Rick Moss (Anna) and Ron Moss (Vicki); along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will remember him fondly.
Mark was a man who found joy in the simple things family gatherings, a friendly game of cornhole, NASCAR races, and always having company. His laughter, kindness, and love for his family and friends defined his life. Mark was a quiet pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a hand, share a smile, and offer a word of encouragement. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
Though the "S" on his chest may have faded with time, Mark Moss will forever be remembered as the real-life superhero he was a man who wore his love for his family like a cape, always there when needed.
A formal gathering to honor Mark's life will be held at a later date. His family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this time.
Mark's spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
