Michael Thompson Obituary

MICHAEL A. THOMPSON, AKA "TOOKIE," was born June 19, 1962, in Charleston, WV, and passed away on May 11, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He leaves behind three sons, Michael, Jeffrey and Johnathan, and a new grandson, Hezekiah.
He is also survived by his three sisters, Ida Jean Fleshman, Sharon Straughter and Jackie Harmon; his loving family, and the whole community of Rand, who loved and enjoyed him.
We are honoring Michael's request, there will be "NO SERVICE."
Michael requested that we remember him and the friendships we shared, a laugh, a task, a smile, as long as he is in your hearts, that's where he wants to be.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.barlowbonsall.com.
Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

When I got the call that Tookie had passed I was shocked. Tookie was closer to my family than a friend, he was family and he will surely be missed. May God bring peace and comfort to the family.
