Mildred Hunt Obituary


MILDRED "MILLIE" LEE HUNT, 90, of Wallback, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
She was born April 20, 1935, to the late Joe and Edith Smith. She attended Spencer High School and lived the remainder of her life in Wallback, WV with her late husband Samuel Ray Hunt. They were happily married for 45 years before Ray preceded her in death in 1997.
She dedicated her life to her family and faith. She attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and her interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mildred is survived by her two sons, Randy Hunt and wife Shelley, Dennis Hunt and wife Jenny; grandchildren, Sean Hunt, Autumn Harrier, Kasey Proctor and Tanner Hunt. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Brabham, Vanessa Scott, Brenda Whaley and brothers, Roger Smith, Steve Smith, Danny Smith, Bill Smith and Jackie Smith. Millie had three great grandchildren, Dakota Hunt, Peyton Proctor and Hunter Proctor.
Graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Wallback, WV on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Wayne Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 88, Wallback, WV. 25285
