Mitchell Hinkle Obituary
MITCHELL EDWIN HINKLE, 90, of Charleston passed away peacefully Monday, August, 26, 2024 at Hubbard Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dayton and Rachel Hinkle and daughter, Priscilla Oliver.
Mitchell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a Christian man and started his career at the GM Ohio car factory and was a lifetime "Chevy" man. "Mitch" retired as locksmith, after a 60-year career. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed tinkering on old cars, driving his bulldozer, and working at his family farm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Ann Hinkle; son, Michael Hinkle; daughters, Jackie (Paul) McDonough, Robin Paxton, Terrie Shaffer, and Melissa Hinkle; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2024 at Hinkle Cemetery, Ambler Ridge, W.V., with Pastor Arco Sharp officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the cemetery.
