I will always remember Nancy Thomas as one of the kindest people I've ever known. She attended my fitness classes at the Charleston YMCA for many, many years. Nancy and many of her friends named themselves, "the back row gang" and they brought joy and their love for fitness regularly. Nancy, in particular, had a gift of making everyone around her feel special. She lifted weights as she lifted spirits. Nothing made me happier than seeing her walk into the gym ready to exercise. Her love for life and people came through her sweet smile and I for one, felt honored to know her. Rest in peace Nancy...you were so loved and will be missed by all who knew you.
