1939 - 2023

PAUL EDWARD PRICE, 84 of Charleston, WV went home to be with Jesus, Sunday December 17, 2023 at home.
Paul was born at Dixie, WV August 16, 1939 to the late Hubert Paul Price and Lona Bell Pritt-Price.
Paul was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. He lived a very full and blessed life. He loved playing the guitar, fishing, flying his own plane, helping others and laughing with the family. He never met a stranger and was loved by many friends.
He was an accomplished pilot and carpenter. He also was a wonderful teacher, professionally and at church. He graduated from WV Tech in 1965 as an Electrical Engineer. He was President of Alpha ETA Honorary Engineering Fraternity. He worked at the Mine Safety & Health Division as an investigator of Electrical accidents. He retired in 2007 from the Bureau of Reclamation as a dam inspector.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carmon Price; daughter, Angela Herbert; sisters, Eloise Nichols Terry, Virginia Pat Sizemore; brother, Clifford Ray Price.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sandra Price; sister, Janette Sue Harrison; daughter, Tawnya (Ralph) Mitchell; son, Paul (Jennifer) Price, II; son-in-law, Jerry Herbert; grandchildren, Amanda (Hassan) & Jordanna (Anthony) Herbert, Bailey (Hans) Teilmann, Stephanie Mitchell, Tagun & Davin Price. Stepchildren, Mike (Polly) Horan, Lora (John) Young and Robin (Jim) Lett; grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Horan, Karlie Young, Cody (Kelly) Horan & Dean (Whitney) Lett; great grandchildren, Tyson, Collin, Riley, Carter & Kate Horan.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday January 15, 2024 at the Arvada Cemetery in Arvada, Colorado.
