Pauline Mascaro Obituary
PAULINE MASCARO was born on February 8, 1934, in Belva, West Virginia to the late Ray and Mable Hill. As a young girl, she grew up in Belva, Hughes Creek and London, West Virginia and graduated from East Bank High School in 1952. In 1953, Pauline married Louis (Louie) Mascaro from Kimberly, West Virginia. They were married for 68 years.
Pauline was a member of the Immaculate Conception/St. Anthony's Shrine Catholic Church of Montgomery/Boomer, West Virginia. Pauline worked at Appalachian Power in Glasgow, West Virginia, West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery and at Montgomery/Valley High School in Montgomery/Smithers, WV for many years. Pauline loved to take walks with Louie throughout Montgomery where she lived for 70 years. They also enjoyed sitting on their front porch. Pauline enjoyed quilting for many years and working in her yard.
Pauline is survived by her daughters Karen (Mike) Moore and Leigh (Greg) Chaney; 5 grandchildren: Michael (Sheila) Moore, Lisa (Roby) Pennington, Ryan Chaney, Tyler (Morgan) Chaney, and Kristin Chaney; 3 great grandchildren: Abigail Pennington, Scarlet Pennington, and Zane Moore. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Bob (Patsy) and sister, Hilda and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her twin sister, Nancy, her sister Irene, and her brother Luther Ray.
A service celebrating Pauline's life will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, West Virginia with Father John Hue officiating. Family and friends may join the family from 1 - 2 p.m. to share the many wonderful memories of Pauline.
A graveside service will be held immediately following the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow, West Virginia.
O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery is in charge of arrangements. The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers who helped take care of Pauline in her home and Montgomery Rehab and Nursing who took great care of her over the past year.

I remember Mrs Mascaro working in the office at Valley High back in the late 70s when I was a student. She was a very nice lady. Condolences to her family.
