Phyllis Watson Obituary
She was born on August 26, 1944 to the late Dan and Opal E. Bays Thevenin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Watson and brother, Kenneth Thevenin.
Phyllis was a cook at Hurricane Town Elementary School and loved spending time with her family while watching her grandchildren in sports and all activities.
She is survived by her children: Greg (Robin) Watson and Kevin (Michelle) Watson; grandchildren: Joshua and Nathaniel Watson; step-grandchildren: Jackson and Emily Kiser; and step-great-grandchild: Grey Kiser all of Winfield, WV; sister, Sharon Hedrick of Buffalo, WV and brother, Curtis Thevenin of Alum Creek, WV; as well as several other family members.
Funeral Service for Phyllis will be 1:00pm Saturday November 1, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home Winfield, WV. Burial will follow in Winfield Cemetery in Winfield, WV.
Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
