Ralph Yeager Obituary
RALPH JUNIOR YEAGER, 91 of Summersville, passed away Wednesday July 26, 2023 after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Fred and Laura Mae PenningtonYeager and was born at Midkiff January 3, 1932. Ralph was a retired Island Creek Coal Company foremen and a Baptist by faith. He was also preceded in death by sons, Michael and Fred; daughter, Shirley; grandson, Johnathan and siblings, Rother Yeager, Ernestiene Huffman, Pearl Albright and Helen Lobell.
Surviving is his wife, Helen Pearl Murphy Yeager; sons, David Yeager of Craigsville, Michael Yeager II of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Ellen Smith of Greenville, NC, Marionette Short of Craigsville, Dinah Deal and special son-in-law, Ernie Summersville; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon, Monday, July 31, 2023 in the Mt. Vernon Church on Silo Road at Glade Creek with Pastor Ed Groves and Pastor Samuel Luppino officiating. Burial will follow in the End of the Trail Cemetery at Clintonville. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Yeager and family, we were very saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Yeager was a wonderful friend and neighbor of our family for many years. He and his wife were always so kind and caring to our mom and was always there for her. We will always have loving memories of him and his kindness.

Deepest sympathy to the Yeager family I remember Mr. Yeager so well and he visit his mother in Heartland rainelle. I had an aunt there as well and he would always come in to see her. I would come I would always have a chance to visit with him when he was there with his mom very fond memories on behalf of the First, Baptist, Church, and myself we extend our stay with this family may God bless you and keep you as our prayer
