Robert Casto Obituary
He was born on October 9, 1940 in Charleston, son of the late Virgil K. and Helen Way Casto. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John Paul Casto.
Robert was a graduate of Charleston High School, class of 1958, and earned his BA and MA degrees from West Virginia University. He worked at WKNA, WCAW, WXIT and WKAZ and retired from the West Virginia Division of Corrections. He attended Kanawha City Baptist Church
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Eleanor; brother Terry his wife Susie of Cross Lanes.
The family held a private service to honor Robert's life with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

I am saddened to learn of Bob's passing. Bob hired me as an on-air news anchor/reporter at WCAW in 1981. He was a good boss - always fair and respectful. More importantly, Bob was a genuinely good person. My condolences to his wife and family.
