Tangela Mae Horton Hamilton

TANGELA MAE HORTON HAMILTON, 40, of Dunbar, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025. Known lovingly as "Baby Girl" and "Woo," she was born April 1,1985.
A proud daughter, and sister, Tangela had a radiant smile and a warm heart that touched everyone she met. She grew up in Madison, WV, and later moved to Charleston. Tangela excelled in her studies and pursued a career in the medical field. At the time of her passing, she worked as a medical assistant at CAMC Memorial Hospital and was aspiring to become a pediatric nurse.
Tangela accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was actively involved at Abundant Life Ministries, Charleston contributing to the dance and multimedia ministries. She cherished her family, especially her brother.
Tangela leaves behind her husband, Tavares Hamilton, Sr., sons, Tavares, Jr. (TJ) and Tristen, parents, Arthur and Lenora Horton, brothers, Shawn Davis, Sr., and Anthony Horton, and many other beloved family members and friends.
"Rest in peace, Tangela, from a life-well lived. Your legacy lives on in your sons, who will share stories of their remarkable mother. Farewell for now, until we meet again." Love, Dad and Mom.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, noon, at Abundant Life Ministries, 1534 Washington St., E., Charleston. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
