Thomas Edward Jones Sr.

THOMAS "TOM" EDWARD JONES, SR., 83, of Dunbar, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV, surrounded by love.
Tom was born on December 21, 1942, in English, WV, to the late Vivian Edward Jones and Edna Lucille (Mercer) Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Rae (Jones) Christy.
Tom graduated from Big Creek High School, War, WV. After graduation and leaving his hometown of Coalwood, WV, he joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Egypt for several years. Once his service was completed, Tom moved to Charleston, WV, where he met his wife Rhonda of 52 years. Tom retired from United Dairy Inc., in Charleston, WV.
Tom's family and friends will remember him for his humor, his smile, his stories, and most of all, his deep and unwavering love for his family and his 4 cats: Bandit, Sassy, Lucy, and Lucky. His laughter, his presence, and his big heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rhonda Lee (Seal) Jones of Dunbar, WV, and adult children, Vivian Leigh Jones of Charleston, WV, and Thomas "Tommy" Edward Jones, Jr., of Dunbar, WV.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
