Donald Snider Obituary

PRINCETON – Donald Ray Snider, 70, of Princeton, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025. Born March 1, 1955, in Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late Billy Ray Snider and Margaret Taylor Snider. Donald attended Matoaka High School and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He attended Lifeline Church of God in Princeton. He worked at Engine Machinery in Bluefield for 15 years and then retired after working 20 years at Princeton Machinery Service. Donald enjoyed riding his Harley, playing basketball, and going to ball games. He was a loving father and grandfather who was loved so much by his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ariel Snider. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Debbie Midkiff Snider; two daughters, Heidie Snider and fiancé Scott Burdette of Charleston, WV, and Julia Thomason and husband Jason of Lashmeet; two grandchildren, Corey Bailey or Charleston, and Jenna Thomason of Lashmeet; sister, Billie Jean Tabor and husband Toby of FL; and one nephew, Thomas Vest of CO. There will be no services. Entombment will be at Roselawn Mausoleum in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
