Eric Alan Gore

The world bids farewell to Eric Alan Gore (Fayetteville North Carolina) departing on September 29, 2025, at the age of 45. Eric was born in Chapel Hill, NC to Roger Alan Gore and Alethia B. Dillard Gore. He attended school in Winston Salem, NC. He retired from Smithfield in NC. Eric was preceded in death by Roger A. Gore; grandmother Bertha McCloud; Grandfather Woodrow Gore and grandparents Benjamin and Florence Dillard. Eric leaves behind memories cherished by his mother, Alethia B. Gore of Bluefield, West Virginia; daughter Erica Marie Gore; brothers Roger Gore (Felicia); Shawn Dillard (Marcella) of Bluefield, West Virginia; Susan Bianca Njie of Bluefield, West Virginia; Uncles Lewis F. Dillard (Sandra) and Chester McCloud, Aunts Darlene "Kitty" McCloud, Pamela McCloud, Tina Buford, Elizabeth Vineyard (Albert); ten nieces and five nephews; several great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and dear friends and his favorite niece Mulan Njie. A "Celebration of Life" for Eric will be held at Scott Street Baptist Church in Bluefield, West Virginia on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11a.m. with the Reverand Garry Moore officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until 11a.m on Saturday. There will be a balloon release following the service. Seaver Funeral Home of Princeton, West Virginia and Leggett and Patterson of Fayetteville, North Carolina oversaw arrangements. Though Eric has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures – a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory. Thank You. Thank you for joining us on this special day.
