James David Aguilar

Heaven gained an angel on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center Women and Children's Hospital. James David Aguilar the two-day-old son of John Aguilar and Emily Ritter was born on Sunday, October 5, 2025, and while his time on earth was short, his tiny little heart was full of love abound. There is no doubt that his purpose here was complete, and he was called to be with the Lord. While we cannot understand the reason why, we do know for sure that he was a blessing, and we were blessed to have had the time we had with him. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Melissa Arthur; paternal grandfather James Moul; and maternal great-grandmother Margaret Ritter. Those left to cherish his memories and love, in addition to his parents are his sister Isabella; grandmother Dorothy Hall; and Aunt Laurie Johnson. The family will accept visitors from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with interment to follow at Martin Cemetery at Crickmer, West Virginia.
