Karen Buckner Obituary

Karen Suzette Buckner, 76, of Bluefield passed away on September 29, 2025 at the Maples in Bluefield. Born January 6, 1949 in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Trula Hammock. Karen was a homemaker. She was a wonderful mother and loving person. She never met a stranger and loved animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Lewis; and two sisters, Patsy Collins and husband Earl Collins and Phyllis Lester and Tyree Lester. She is survived by one son, Jerry Buckner of Princeton; two daughters, Sarah French of Knoxville, TN and Melissa Buckner of Colorado; one grandson, Aiden Bucker; former daughter-in-love who she loved, Kayla Farmer; honorary granddaughter, Nova Farmer; special niece, Sharon Weaver and her daughter, Sharon Weaver. In keeping with Karen's wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
