Orell H. Hagerman

Orell H. Hagerman, 72, of Jolo, WV, passed away Monday, September 29,2025 at his home. Orell was born April 22, 1953 in Welch a son of the late Harve and Beatrice Hagerman Horne. He loved his family and friends and would do anything for anyone. He loved playing cards and was the "Card Champ!" One special lady he loved to play cards with was Pat Mullins. Our dad was never a cat person but this little cat, Nosey stole his heart and followed him everywhere. In addition to his parents Orell was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline Hicks Hagerman; daughter, Ethel Wagner; a sister, Evanell Sizemore, a brother, Jerry Hagerman, a grandson, Adam Bales; and two sons-in-law, Jason Allen and Ronnie Wagner; Survivors include four daughters, Donna Sweeney and husband Danny, Leslie Hagerman, Roxanne Kiser and husband Shane, and Amber Dotson and husband Jonathan; a special niece (like a daughter) Veronica Hoke and Hannah Brookes; one son, David Willie Kennedy and wife Michelle; brother/son/best friend and partner in crime, Henry Bales; brothers in heart, Steve Proffitt and wife Patti, Steve Shortridge "Preacher", and Barry Humbert (Manilow); grandchildren, Alex Bales, Jace Allen AKA Fred and fiancée Bianea Cody, Courtney Milhoan and fiancé Colton Sage, Addison Dotson and Brianna Kennedy, Danny Sweeney Jr. and great grandchildren Anna Lee Bales, Great Granddog "Rooster" Sage. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o'clock, Thursday October 2, 2025 with Pastor Jamie Sparks officiating at the Three Forks Church of God. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery on Snake Ridge near Jolo, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may visit with the family at the Three Forks Church of God, Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 11 o'clock until the time of service at 12 o'clock.
