Ramona Ann Dahmer

Ramona Ann Dahmer, 73, of Rainelle, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1951, in Corliss to the late Raymond and Anna (Taylor) Rider. She was a giving person to those in her family and need. Ramona loved to shop. She was also a really good cook. Anyone who has had her "killer fruit cake" or creamiest fudge can attest. Ramona attended the Hilton Village Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne Dahmer. Those left to cherish her memories and love are her sons Michael (Andrea) Dahmer, Stephen Dahmer, Jonathan (Alycia) Dahmer; daughter Joanna (Lewis) Bennett; sisters Yvonne (Mike) Sims of Victor, Donna Gipson of Lorain, OH, Nora Godby of Santa Clara, CA, and Lynn Rider-Phillips of Santa Clara, CA.; and grand-daughters Taylor, Avalon, Lily, Alexa, and Abigail whom she loved very much. Funeral services will be at the Hilton Village Baptist Church on Corliss Road, Rainelle on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 3:00pm with pastors Johnny Bob Hamrick and Justin Seay officiating. The family will receive friends, family, and neighbors from 2:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Rider Cemetery at Corliss.
