Beatrice Valdez Obituary

Beatrice (Montoya) Valdez 1935- 2025 Beatrice Valdez, 89, of Cheyenne, passed at home quietly. She was born October 8, 1935, in Ault, CO to Florencio and Isabel Montoya. Beatrice was a bookkeeper for Tom The Tireman for 37 years, she was a member of the Cheyenne Hot Air Balloon Club, belonged to Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of the Moose Lodge. She is survived by her brother Dan Montoya, son Joseph (Ginger) Valdez, daughters Maria (Brian) Seveyka, Shelley Rowe, grandchildren Mykaela (AJ) Zentgraft, Jameson (Brooklyn) Rowe, Ian Seveyka, and many great grandchildren. bonus sons Larry (Becky) Lawhead, Dick (Tammy) Lawhead, Bill (Deb) Lawhead, and David (Linda) Lawhead. Beatirce was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Valdez, son Michael Valdez, granddaughter Alytreus Rowe, significant other Lavern Lawhead, her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

A viewing will be Friday, October 10, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 11. Both will take place at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be on Sunday, October 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Reception to follow at The Moose Lodge from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
