Gary Sallee Obituary

Gary T. Sallee 1962- 2025 Gary T. Sallee, 63, of Rockledge, Florida passed away on September 17, 2025. Gary was born March 9, 1962, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Don and Billie Sallee. Gary left Wyoming, after graduation, served four years in the Air Force and settled in Florida when he got out. He retired as a firefighter for NASA at Space Coast in 2022. Gary loved living in Florida and always said he was 'living the dream' with his wife and love of his life, Denise Petrae and their two dogs Lani and Max. Gary is survived by Denise, three sisters, Susie McHenry (Bill), Sandy McDaniel, Dianne Sehgal (Dev), his Aunts, Orene Roope and Marlene Hightower, Uncle, Dave Sallee (Lois), and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Mark McDaniel.

We love you Gary and you will be dearly missed.

I was saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. I had the privilege of knowing the Sallee family for many years. I knew Gary as a kid and watched him grow up and heard about him now and again through the years and his adventures in life. My heartfelt condolences to Susie, Sandy and Diane
