Jerry Carter Obituary

Jerry Page Carter 1935- Jerry Page Carter traveled peacefully through the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1935 to Ethel M. (Carpenter) Carter and Lester O. Carter in Pine Bluffs, WY. He graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1953. He attended the University of Wyoming. He was a Life Time member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 660 in Cheyenne where he served as a Lodge Officer as well as Lodge Trustee. Jerry was a Sergeant First Class in the Wyoming National Guard, where he served in the Engineering Corps. and was honorably discharged in September 1962. Jerry Participated in Cheyenne Frontier Days from a young age, serving as a volunteer for multiple committees, for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Victoria (Vicci) Carter. His children Kim (Alan) Lamb, Kent Carter, Kelli (David) Henry. His blended family children, Carol (David) O'Dell, Roxana (Angelo) Gonzalez, Von Maul, Katrina (Chip) Suter and numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews. His memorial service and a celebration of his life to follow, will be held May 3, 2025, 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the Buckle Club in Frontier Park.
