Mary Orr Meyer 1941- 2025 PLEASE JOIN THE FAMILY AT THE CHEYENNE RED LION CONVENTION CENTER FOR A CELEBRATION OF MARY'S LIFE AND RECEPTION TO FOLLOW, 1 P.M., FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST. Mary Orr Meyer, 83, of Cheyenne, died October 29, 2025, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Born November 30, 1941 in Sheridan, where she grew up. She attended the University of Wyoming and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Speech, Theater, and Communications. While in college, she met her future husband, Joseph "Joe" Meyer, a Casper native. They were married on September 3, 1966 in Sheridan. Her greatest joy was always her family. She is survived by her sons, Vince and Warren (Cory), grandsons Ethan and Devin Meyer, and her little K9 ray of sunshine Button, all of Cheyenne. Heartfelt condolences to relatives and friends of MOM. Mary and I went to Sheridan High School together and then I lost track of her after we graduated. 60 plus years later we reconnected thru Facebook, emails, and phone calls. I learned about her very interesting life and a common love of adventure travel. May she rest in eternal peace.
