Michael Sean Simpson

Michael Sean Simpson 1974- Michael Sean Simpson, 51, of West Milford NJ, entered into rest at his residence on August 21, 2025. Michael was born on May 6, 1974, in Pequannock NJ to Lewis Simpson (Cheyenne) and the late Linda (Ambrogio 1949-2001). Michael was the oldest of their two children. Michael spent many summers in Cheyenne with his father, brother and Bonus-Mom, Lenora, where he enjoyed helping with the construction of new homes in the neighborhood. Michael traveled the country, as well as England, with his family while his father was in the Air Force. He settled in Bloomingdale, NJ and graduated from Butler High School. He was also a volunteer for the Butler Fire Dept. He loved to go fishing, hunting and bowling. He especially loved his dog Loki, who has now found his forever home. Michael is survived by his daughter Kayla (Simpson) Sybesma, (Sussex, NJ) and her husband, Konner, and two grandchildren, Jayden and Nevaeh; his brother David (Amber) Simpson of Cheyenne and his two nieces Madilynn, Evyanna and nephew Dacsten; and his favorite half-sister Rachel (Simpson) Sutton and her husband, Luke (Missoula, MT). A celebration of life will be scheduled in New Jersey in the Spring of 2026.
