Judith Smith Obituary
FAIRBORN — Judith P. "Judy" Smith, age 77 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2018. She was born November 18, 1940 in Sandy Hook, KY, the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Click) Duvall. Judy was the owner of Beauty Hut Hair Fashions for over 48 years. An avid Wright State University Men's Basketball fan, she was a charter season ticket holder and never missed an opening game. Judy enjoyed taking daily walks around the neighborhood and was a longtime member of Byron Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Duval. Judy is survived by her husband, Dan; daughter, Barbara (David) Gullett; two grandsons, Derek (Karen) Gullett, Wesley Gullett; great-grandson, Kellen; three siblings, James (Rhonda) Duval, Patricia (Jim) Walters, Roger (Mary Jo) Duvall; sister-in-law, Nettie Duvall; three step-sons, James Smith, Thomas Smith and David Smith. A funeral service will be held on Monday May 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Byron Church, 3230 Trebein Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
