JAMESTOWN — Timothy Allen Marsden Sr., age 59, of Jamestown, passed away October 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 27, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Fredrick M. and Lila (Givens) Marsden. Tim had been a brick mason. Tim had a heart of gold and was very caring and kind. He was not only a father to his children, he was there mother as well. He loved his kids more than life itself. He was a loving son, dad and grandpa. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Marsden; and his wife, Benita Marsden. Tim is survived by his children: Timothy Jr. (Karen) of West Carrollton; Joseph (Sherri) Marsden of Jamestown; Casey McGowan of Dayton; his mother: Lila Marsden; siblings: Fred D. Marsden; Valerie (William) Beam; Kathy (Tom) Sefton; Lynn (Jeff) Herald; Freddy (Christy) Marsden; grandchildren: Timothy Marsden III; Kylie, Caleb, Tristen, Alexis, Chloe, Blake, Kelsey, Dalton and Isabella; special nephews: Shane (Gig) Reynolds; Jacob (Jalayn) Marsden and Jesse Marsden; numerous other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law: Norman Kepler. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Interment to follow in Silvercreek Cemetery.
