Danny Lilly Obituary
Mr. Danny Lee Lilly, 64, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Danny was born October 31, 1957 in Raleigh County, WV to David James and Ruth Meadows Lilly. He was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. Danny loved his family and friends, he loved his coffee and exercising. He was always a hard worker and provided for his family. Danny retired from Mood Media after many years of service. Mr. Lilly was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Vickie Swearengin Lilly; children, Michael Shane Lilly and wife Tracy, Stephanie Nifong and husband Daniel, and Mark Lilly and wife Christina; grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, Cassie, Jacob, Cari, and Sara; mother-in-law, Norma Swearengin; a sister, Annabell McCumbers and husband David; brothers, James Lilly, Frank Lilly and wife Carolyn, David Lilly, Darryl Lilly and wife Wanda, and Kenny Lilly and wife Lisa; many nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Chuck Wiley, John Hopkins, and Roger Marshall. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at Peace Haven Baptist Church with Dr. John Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to Peace Haven Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 2200 Booger Swamp Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055. www.peacehaven.com. Vicky & family: I didn't know Danny died till I came to library & just happened to check Gentry's website. I didn't know since it was not in newspaper. I am very sorry, as us old engineers need to stick together
especially since we were in same union. (Many years ago, for me) I am truly sorry. Danny was a good man. Rather not use real name "ONLINE"

Very Sorry to hear of Danny´s passing. I worked with Danny at Muzak/Mood for many years. He was always ready to jump right in and help in any way needed and was a real pleasure to be around. Rest In Peace, Danny..my Prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Danny well. He was very energetic thats for sure and a hard worker. I know for a fact he loved his family more than anything. I think I was 13 years old when I first got to know him he was driving a 1969 Roadrunner around. James, Frankie, David, Darrell, Kenny, Annabell and all your family I have you in my Prayers.
