Althea J. (Runkle) Miller, 90, passed on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 after a lengthy illness.
She was the companion of Sterling Keener, of York.
Born on Nov. 28, 1926 in Felton, she was the daughter of the late Mazie E.(Anstine) and Elias G. Runkle.
Miss Miller is survived by two daughters, Althea J. Craul, of Shiloh, Sharon E. Swords, of York; three sons, Woodrow
L. Miller, Donald R. Miller, Scott E. Miller, all of York; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clair
E. Runkle, of Dallastown, Robert E. Runkle, of Manlius,NY; a sister, Carlene E. Leighty of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by a son, Glen H. Miller; and a daughter, Brenda Wagner.
She was a member of Fourth United Methodist Church of York.
The viewing will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822
East Market St. York, Pa. The Celebration of Life Service begins at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Lindeman officiating.
Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

ALTHEA, SHE IS BUFFY TO THE FELTON PEOPLE , WE WENT TO SCHOOL TOGETHER ,IN FELTON.AFTER SHE LEFT FELTON I WOULD ONLY SEE HER AT THE YEARLY FELTON SCHOOL REUNION.
