Ana M. Millan

YORK Ana Mercedes Millan, 81, was called into the presence of the Lord, on Saturday, February 20, 2010, from her home, surrounded by her loving family. Ana was the widow of Eugenio Millan who passed in 2007. Born on June 6, 1928, in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Angelata Laboy and Pedro Martinez. Mrs. Millan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed, but always loved and remembered. She was a member of the Iglesia De Dois Church in York. Ana leaves to cherish her memory, children and their families, Nelson Padilla, Ramon Ramos, both of P.R., Willy Ramos, Jaime Martinez, Ivette Montano, all of York, Carlos Millan, Madelyn Millan, both of N.Y., Orlando Millan, Edison Millan, Sr., Magaly Millan, Juan E. Millan, all of York; 26 grandchildren; a host of greatgrandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren; and family. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Edison Millan, Jr. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The service will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with a viewing from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Pastor Hipolito Navarro will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., is entrusted with the arrangements.
