Angelina Renda

Dover - Mrs. Angelina Renda, 64, was called home by God on Thursday December 20, 2018. She was the devoted wife of Vito Renda for 48 years and a loving mother and grandmother.

Angelina was born May 31, 1954 in Lucca Sicula, Sicily, Italy, daughter of the late Giovanni and Salvatrice Morello. She was an outstanding chef and achieved her dream of having her own restaurants with her husband, including Angie's Place, Rossville Family Restaurant and Moonlight Cafe. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church.

Angelina is survived by her husband; children Finuccia Perez and her husband Matthew, Peter Renda and his wife Giovanna, John Renda and his wife Danielle; grandchildren: Isabella, Jonathan, Matthew, Juliana and Noah; brothers and sisters Giacomo Morello , Paolina Morello, Pierina Renda, Josie Cerra, Bobby Morello; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved father and mother-in-law Pietro and Filippa Renda.

A Viewing will be held from 4-6:00pm Sunday, Dec. 23 at John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 West Market St., with a 6 p.m. prayer service. The Mass of Catholic Burial will begin at 9:00am Monday at St. Rose of Lima Church, 950 West Market St. York, with Rev. Daniel Richards as celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
