Anna C. Eisele

Anna C. Eisele HELLAM Anna C. Eisele, 83, died Friday evening, February 7, 2003, at York Hospital following a illness. She was the wife of Walter K. Eisele Sr. who died May 6, 2002. Mrs. Eisele was born in Columbia. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Vivia Eicherly Stoll. She was an librarian for the Columbia Library for 20 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbia. Mrs. Eisele was a high school graduate of Columbia High School in 1937 and she graduated from the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing in 1940. She is survived by a sister, Marie Kleber of Turnersville, N.J.; two grandsons, Walter K. III of New Bridgeville, and William F. Eisele of Manchester; a granddaughter Anna C. Eisele of Pittsburgh; seven greatgrandchildren; and three greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Walter K. Jr. and a sister Ruth E. Campbell. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 616 Locust St., Columbia. Interment service will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church.
