Brian A. Stanko

New Freedom, PA - Brian A. Stanko, 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 16, 2020, at his home. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of Mary Ann Stanko (nee Leppert) and the late Alexander S. Stanko. Brian worked as a packaging engineer with Proctor & Gamble for 24 years and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He loved life, enjoyed making people laugh, and had a very unique sense of humor with his family and friends. His hobbies included golf, softball, darts, woodworking, and he also dabbled in landscaping.

In addition to his mother Brian is survived by two sisters, Janet A. Deibler and Joy A. Keil (Harry R.); one nephew, Alexander F. Keil and his fiancée Stephanie M. Cecero; one great-niece, Giuliana M. Keil, and special friends of many years, Darlene and Bonnie. He also had numerous other friends and associates. Brian was preceded in death by his son, Stephen T. Stanko, in 2015.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.

I taught Brian in middle school and later on our paths crossed when I would see Brian working in sales when he was working for P&G. Brian was always full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor. Sorry we fell out of touch, hope to see you on the other side.
