Cameron Jolley Obituary

Cameron Lee Jolley

Fawn Grove - Cameron Lee Jolley, 58, of Fawn Grove, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Born in 1962 in Baltimore, Lee was a funny guy who enjoyed the company of others. He worked for Baltimore County for 30 years as an Electrical Inspector and eventually becoming the Chief Electrical Inspector of his department. He taught fourth year electrical classes at Harford Community College for 22 years. Lee also served as a Board Member for the Electrical Contractors Association of Baltimore County. He gave seminars on the side and was extremely knowledgeable and respected in his field. Lee was known by his colleagues as "Mr. Code".

Lee enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing, being with his family, and spending time with his beloved dog, Duke. He was known for his very dry sense of humor and for being quite the prankster. Most importantly, he was also known as being a very kind and caring man. Surely, he will be missed, but don't call him "Shirley".

Lee is survived by his daughter Lauren Jolley and her companion, Jason Mosebach, of Stewartstown; his son, Elijah Jolley and his companion, Hannah Harris, of Fawn Grove; and two granddaughters, Ava and Isabella.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Electrical Contractors Association of Baltimore County (E.C.A.B.C.), 3108 ½ Texas Ave, Baltimore MD 21234. All proceeds will be forwarded in the name of Lee Jolley toward Electrical Apprenticeships. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., of Stewartstown, is assisting the family during this time.

Lee was a great mentor who is missed very much! I always enjoyed taking Lee's classes and he always kept me on my toes when he was inspecting my jobs. The electrical trade is not the same without you! Condolences to your family and friends.

I was heart broken to just hear of Lee's passing. We worked on some projects together at work. He was a very kind and funny soul. I enjoyed our conversations together. So incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and coworkers

Lee was a great guy
He was my teacher and also would answer any questions I had over the 20 years I knew him
The electrical world lost a great mind and a bright light
Take care buddy

When Lee first came to work for electrical inspections he said "I'll surprise you" and he continued to do that throughout his career. It was an honor and a "gas" to have worked with him. He is a credit to the electrical industry and his family should be very proud of his career. P.S. Nice tiger musky.

Lee was a good man, a diligent co-worker and a faithful Christian. His true devotion in life was his family. Pictures of Lauren and Elijah papered the walls of his cubicle. He was so proud of both of them. He loved a good scrapple sandwich as much as he loved a bad joke. He worked hard, played hard and laughed hard. I'm glad I got to work with him. I learned a lot from him. I'll miss him.

To My Friend Lee, God called you home too soon, but we are so grateful for the time you spent with us and the knowledge that you shared. You were an asset to the electrical industry and our association. You will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in Peace!
