Clara Dill Obituary

WHITE HALL, MD Clara Margie Dill, 86, of White Hall, MD died October 4, 2008. Born November 5, 1921, in York, she was the wife of the late Donald Franklin Dill, Sr.; the mother of James W. Dill, Sr. and Donald F. Dill, Jr., both of White Hall, Md.; the sister of Lester W. 'Pick' Brown of White Hall, Md.; and the daughter of the late Lester W. and Clara (Lewis) Brown. Margie is also survived by six grandchildren and 16 great randchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Eva Humphrey. Margie was a homemaker, and previously worked at the former Charles G. Summers, Jr., Inc. in New Freedom. She was a member of The Lighted Pathway Baptist Church, Parkton, MD. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the J. J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. Interment in Stablers United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, Md., will follow the service. Viewings will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.

Family of Ms. Clara,
Even though I only knew her for a short while, it was easy to just love her! She was a wonderful person and I will miss our little social chats when I came to see her.
