This last day of March 2022 to just learn of Deb's passing nearly 13 years ago has left a profound sense of grief, remorse, and regret. Deb's been on my mind, ever since I didn't show at her party while I was visiting in PA from VT. Tonight, I came across Deb's contact info which was stored in a mountain of "To-Do's" thinking that I would reach out to her this weekend. To just learn she passed over a decade ago is very difficult to digest. Deb was one of the most kind, caring, intelligent, giving, beautiful, and truly amazing person I've ever met. I'll never forget her welcoming smile and her free sprit. Kyle and Duanne I hope you can forgive me. I do hope to see you both someday and Ms. Ivy that I heard so much about when you were born. My deepest sympathies to you, Nelson, and her family. Best, Tammy McKenzie

Nelson and Ivy,
Jeff and I want to say that our hearts go out to you as well as to Duane and Kyle. I did not get to spend a lot of time with Deb but I know that she was a special person - she had a warmth and likeability that made it fun to be around her. Her children were very devoted to her and I know how much she meant to Duane and Kyle. She will be missed by all but remembered with love. She was "one of a kind".
Love to all of you, Vicki Feder

Dearest Nels, Duane, Kyle, Ivy, Erin & Sarah, Tracey, Julie and all those wonderful grandchildren - I don't know what more can be added to what has already been said about our dear Debra J. except perhaps that she will be missed terribly, by you, and those of us who called her a sister-in-soul. She was a beautiful spirit and totally earthy, the complete package, the best of all worlds...
Peace and Love to you all,

Duane, Kyle and family -

Deb was the kind of person to make a lasting impression, no matter how little time you may have spent with her. Her smile, her obvious love of life and family are forever engraved on my heart. The world is a little bit darker with Deb gone, but heaven will be that much brighter. My love to you all.

Dear Family,

We'd like to let you know that Ms. Randall (Debra Horn). Was an inspiration to many students at Hannah Penn. We loved her, she was the only teacher who gave us real live action. Like letting her African Frog eat mice in front of the entire class. For those of us who had the chance to know her. She will be missed.

Kyle and family,
I met Deb one time. She was amazing. Her spirit and love of nature was so strong. I will never forget watching her walk around the trees and things at Tim and Tricia's that day. I remember her asking if she could have a branch with fall leaves on it adding that she did not break it from the tree but that it she found it on the grass. I knew then and there what kind of person she was. Now, reading her obituary I also see what an educated woman she was as well. What a beautiful woman she was also!! You can all feel so proud of her. It was an honor to meet her and know that her spirit is strong and well.
Love to you all,
Marianne and Jerry

To Mrs. Randall’s family,
I was a student of hers throughout my years at Hannah Penn and she was so much more than a teacher, but also a friend. I was able to talk to her about anything and she was always willing to listen. She was so compassionate about every project she did with her students, whether it was big or small, which in turn made us get excited about the world of science. Sadly, the world has lost a beautiful spirit. My prayers go out to her family, may you all continue to be blessed in your time of grief…

Sincerely,

Donna Moon

To the family of Deb Randall:

I am devastated to learn of her passing.
It is hard to find the words to tell you just how extraordinary she was. She was intelligent, beautiful & had a gift for teaching.
I am unsure of where I would be today without her. She was incredibly instrumental in my early development as a scientist, scholar & human being. I don't think I can remember a time when she was upset. Ms. Randall always wore a smile, possessed impeccable character & gave her students a brilliant answer for most everything.
She was, without a doubt, a highly regarded instructor & friend. She presented lessons impacting my personal life, as well as, those pertaining to my academic development. She will NEVER be forgetten.
My sincerest & warmest sympathies go out to all who loved her.

Sincerely,

Melissa Dorsey(Hays)

Dear Family,
I am saddened to hear of Miss Randall's passing. I was a student of her's at Hannah Penn. She was an excellent teacher and brought a lot of life to the classroom. She was very inspirational to my life. We always had fun times on Earth Day and during Science Fairs. We even started a garden while we were there at the school. She was full of love and I know she impacted many lives during her time here. My prayers are with your family.
Sincerely,

To Deb's Family,

She was a beautiful person. So much energy. I am employed at York College where she went. I still think of her many times. She would hang out in my office when I was Bio secretary and then when I worked in the library.

Sincere sympathy,
