My hearfelt sympathy goes out to you Ken, your kids (Alyssa) and the grandkids. Losing a loved one is always so hard, doubly so during this sacred season. Please find solace in that thought however, that her soul ascended so close to the holiest of days in our Christian calendar. You know she smiled down seeing the whole family together. May blessings be bestowed upon you.

Lyss,
I prayed for one more Christmas for you and your family with your mom before Jesus came and took her home. I guess He needed her there in Heaven with Him more. You are a strong person and a wonderful friend. I know this was very difficult for you go endure and I could only imagine the loss you feel. I am and always will be here for you and your family to do what ever I can. I will continue to pray for your dad, I know this has to be difficult for him as well. I pray for your entire family to feel God's Peace, Comfort and Mercy in the healing that is to come with the loss of your wonderful Mom. I've never met your mom, but with your stories you would tell us, I felt as though I lost a person from my life as well with your phone call of her passing. May God show you mightely His Grace and Mercy to all of you. The words written below was on the card we gave at the passing of my Grandfather.....I give these words to you and your family now...
The Broken Chain, We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name; In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories , your live is still our guide. And though we cannot see yoiu, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one...The chain will link again. God Bless
