Denise Dixon Obituary
York
Denise Marie (Dacheux) Swartz Dixon, 58, entered into the presence of God on December 3, 2015, from her residence, after a courageous battle with illness. She was the companion of George Harmon.
Born on March 9, 1957, in York, she was the daughter of Stella (Lobianco) Frey and the late David M. Dacheux.
"DeeDee", as she was fondly known, attended Northeastern Sr. High School. She was an over the road truck driver for various trucking companies and a Guardian Angel for car carriers.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Dawn Miller (Kent), Virginia Beach, Va., Diane Swartz, York; four grandchildren, Ethan, Grant, Lawson, Vivian; mother and stepfather, Stella and Allen Frey, Manchester; siblings, Eugenia" Genie" Sprenkle, York, Terry Dacheux, Manchester, Dave Dacheux, York, Danny Dacheux (Terrie), Dover, Michelle Seitz, Broomfield, Colo.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York, Pa. The Celebration of Life Service begins at 7 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.

Dee I'm so glad that we were able to spend some time together when you were in the hospital. You will be surely missed. No more cancer for you your body is whole once again in the presence of out Lord Jesus Christ. Your with your earthly David and with our in heaven. RIP

I will always remember all the fun & fights we shared over the years. You always made me laugh with your stories. You were a tough cookie, something I wish I was able to do a lot of times. I'm glad you are in the lords hand now Dee, for you are no longer in pain. Enjoy those lollipops you always talked about! Love you always!
