Elizabeth Sanger Obituary
York - Elizabeth A. Sanger, age 75, of York, died at 7:50 PM Saturday, May 18, 2019.
Born July 10, 1943 in York, the daughter of the late Jesse A. and Margaret I. (Boyer) Sanger, she was retired from Kelly Manor where she had worked in housekeeping for more than 40 years. She was a life member of Grace Lutheran Church, and had served as the secretary and treasurer of the York Area Softball League.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Friday, May 24, 2019 at Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with The Rev. Judy McKee officiating. Viewing will be 1-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 150 Jefferson Avenue York PA 17401.

I cant believe it has been a year since you went to be with Jesus. I cant imagine what glories you are experiencing there. Who would have thought that six months later my wife, Joan Fahringer, and your friend from Sunday night chapel services at Pleasant Acres would join you in your Heavenly home. While my heart is broken, I look forward to the day when I will join you. I miss you very much.

We will miss you, Liz, at Sunday Night Chapel services at Pleasant Acres. It was always such a joy to talk with you. Liz, you were always so appreciative of every little thing we did and always thanked us. It won't be the same without you in the first row singing in chapel services. Someday we will meet again in that beautiful place called Heaven where there is no more pain, no more illness, no more saying good-bye, no more death and no more suffering. Meanwhile enjoy the Heavenly Choir and fellowship with the Lord Jesus and your loved ones and friends.
