York
Elvin G. Miller, 81, died on November 5, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Martha A. (Spahr) Miller, together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Born on October 22, 1936 in Hellam Twp., he was the son of the late George H. and Stella (Wasser) Miller.
Elvin was a truck driver for 34 years at the former Edgcomb Metals. He was a 1955 graduate of Central York High School and was a member at Fairmount United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Paul E. Miller of Wake Forest, NC, Gerald L. Miller of York, Keith E. Miller of Pleasureville and Melinda A. Myers of Wrightsville; five grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Jara, Charles and Jessica; one great-grandson, Rylan; and a sister, Amy Fisher of Berkley Springs, WVa. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael G. and Steven J. Miller.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Fairmount United Methodist Church, 5835 Furnace Road, York. A visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m., Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fairmount United Methodist Church, 5835 Furnace Road, York, PA 17406.

Martha and family,
I was saddened to hear of Elvin's passing. Unfortunately I have a full schedule on Friday with my grandsons. They don't have school and appointments were previously made. Just know that I am thinking of and praying for you all. He is at peace and he has his two boys to catch up with.
