Erlene Fourhman Obituary

Erlene W. Fourhman, 86, formerly of New Freedom, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earl W. Fourhman. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, with her pastor, the Rev. Daniel M. Krodel, officiating. The viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery. Born January 28, 1919, in Shrewsbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Ora and Cecelia (Wareheim) Walker. Mrs. Fourhman was a floor lady for 28 years at the former Charles G. Summers, Jr., Inc., New Freedom. She was a life member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, Glen Rock, and was a member of its United Church Women and Ladies Bible Class. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. Surviving are a son, Harold E. Fourhman of Glen Rock; a daughter, Vardella J. Diehl of York; three grandchildren, Lisa Godfrey, Tina Diehl and Gina Todd; four great-grandchildren, Amy Godfrey, Ashley Godfrey, Megan Todd and Corey Todd; and a sister, Creola Epperly of Selby, Del. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327.

she is at peace now. I sure enjoyed talking with her last year

when I visited with mother. Hold on to those precious memories.
