What a wonderful person. Not just a hairdresser but a friend. When it’s time for my appointment, I think of her. When I drive by the shop, I think of both her and Brenda and when I talk to others, her name may come up. You never forget those special people in your life...not ever and Glenda was definitely special. She’ll always be dear to my heart.

To Keith and Cameron, as well as Heidi and Glenda's mother, Glenda was my beautician as well as a former classmate and a friend. She was a well liked person, friendly, cordial, loving, a true Christian. We are on this earth for a short while and just do not know what the Lord has in store for us down the road. Glenda was very strong and corageous through her fight. It is how we get through these challenges in life that the Lord views and Glenda did a great job. She will be truely missed but forever in our hearts. May God bless you through this time.

Deepest Sympathy,

To Glenda's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was a customer of Brenda's from back in the days when the shop was called The Hairport. I got to know Glenda then and I still am a customer. She was truly a sweet girl and we had many laughs over the years. My heart goes out to all of you during this sad time.
Those of us who knew her for so long will miss her terribly and we share the pain of her loss with you. The shop will not be the same without her cheerful hello and her laughter. She was a very special lady.
My Deepest Sympathy to you all.

Keith, Cameron, Family and Friends, There are no words to describe how I feel about Glenda as my best friend. She was always there for me. We shared many great times and some difficult times. She was the truest kind of friend. We bonded in high school and continued that bond working together for nine years but the shop was only a small part of who Glenda was as a person. She can never be replaced for anyone who knew her but I know that her and Brenda are together smiling and laughing again, I thank God for that comfort. I am blessed to have had a friend so dear. Keith and Cameron, she loved you with all her heart and knew you loved her the same. Glenda loved all the members of her family and made it obvious to everyone how much they meant to her. Glenda's grace in handling her illness is an inspiration to us all.

Keith, Cameron, Heidi, Tootie, and everyone - I am so sad for you. Glenda was a wonderful friend for over 50 years. The fact that she cut my hair was incidental to seeing her on a regular basis...but I lost count of how many people asked me who cut it as they loved her work! I know that she and Brenda are so glad to see each other! My memories of all of you will always be in my heart. Greg, too, is so sorry to know this; he, too, spent many an hour in the shop and knows how much Glenda has always meant to me. Glenda, great minds think alike! Rest well. Love, Barb Sullivan, Evans, GA

Dear Family, I am sorry sorry to her about your loss, Glenda was my hair stylist for the last 28 yrs. Keith, Cameron, Heidi and Mrs. Strausbaugh: I have been with Glenda for a very long time. I guess you would say that other than family members, I was one of her oldest non-family customers. She gave my son his first haircut and he is now over 40. She was really good as a hairdresser but she was even greater as a friend. She did a lot for me and my family. I will miss her smile and laughter but most of all I will just miss "her". My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time....Sandy Bankert

I'm so sorry, for your loss. I was a customer,of Brenda's and learned to know Glenda, way back at the "mini mall", on York St. And followed both the Girls to Blooming Grove Rd. This is such a sad time for your whole family, but I'm sure that both the girls, are back together now, watching over all of you. Right now, that seems like little comfort, but time will help. My prayers are with ALL of you.

I have only known you for over a year. It was such a pleasure working for you, and becoming not only a co-worker, but a friend. You have made me laugh so many times, amd enjoyed our "back room" talks and laughs. You will be missed terribly, and I will never forget you and what you have done for me. I still can't believe you have passed on. You left behind many people who love and care for you and hold a special place in their hearts for you. I have found comfort in the past 2 days knowing the joy you have experienced being w/your family again. over the past few months not a minute went by w/o thinking of you and saying a prayer for you to get well. Up until the end you still shared your humor as you layed there, and made everyone smile, even through your pain. Until we meet again... Lori A Kopp
