Harold Snyder Obituary
York - Harold Ernest Snyder, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2021. He was the loving husband of 44 years to Brenda E. (Walker) Snyder. Born on December 21, 1952 in York, PA to the late Harold and F. Shirley Snyder.
Harold graduated from High School and worked for New York Wirecloth Company. He was self-employed as a contractor, worked as a truck driver, and retired as a local Methodist Pastor. He loved woodworking, gardening, fishing, and especially spending time with his sons and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by his 3 sons; Todd E. Snyder, Christopher R. Snyder and his wife, Amber, and Jason M. Snyder and his wife, Stacie; 8 adoring grandchildren; and many loving great nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday August 1st from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. in New Freedom, PA. On Monday, August 2nd, a viewing will be held from 10:00 am-11:00 am with a service beginning at 11:00 am at the Christ United Methodist Church 200 N. Main St, Jacobus, PA 17407. Interment will immediately follow at the Christ United Methodist Cemetery.

I attended Local Pastor school at Wesley in D.C. Butch was always so positive and happy. He could lift your spirits, or whisper a funny comment, and then we would both laugh. He was a great guy to pal around with. You have my heartfelt sympathy.
