James Fabie was "recommended to the Spirit in the Sky" on Friday, February 17, 2017.
He was the loving father of Jasmine, Jordan, and Autumn. He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Fabie. He is survived by his mother, Helen (Moniot) Fabie; eight siblings; his three children; grandchildren; and great-grandchild; and a big ole group of loving family members.
Formerly married to the mother of his children, Diane A. Vestal, he later was married to Billi Jo Fabie, but spent the last 15 years with the love and support of Cynthia Snellbaker and her family.
Although he studied masonry at Vo-tech in York, he quickly fell in love with and continued the legacy of the family painting business. After apprenticing under his father, he established his own company, The Fabie Painting Co.
Everyone will always remember his contagious smile, the mischievous twinkle in his eyes, his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, along with his Southern soul and love of rock'n'roll, but most of all...his incredible heart full of love and laughter. JimBeau holds a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grace Fellowship, 1405 Seven Valleys Rd, York. A Celebration Service will follow at Grace Fellowship at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25 with Pastor Jay DuSold officiating. Interment will be private. May God our father and his son Jesus Christ give your family the peace and comfort of His loving Spirit. The Fabie Family has been a beacon of light to the York area and has been a special blessing to me. I did not know Jim well, but met him years ago and he always made me feel welcome and loved. God bless you in this time of sorrow. We will see Jim again at the appearing of our Savior.

Helen and the entire Fabie family. We were shocked to see Jim had passed and knowing Ted passing was not that long ago but how time flies. Knowing your loved one is safe in the arms of Jesus and with Ted just gives us peace even though we miss him.
When we pick roses, we pick rosebuds so they last longer...sometimes God picks rosebuds too. Just know our prayers and hugs are with you all.

For 15 years it's been a pleasure knowing Jim or as I called him (big brother).....he spiritually enlightened me on life itself,he introduced me to Bob surgeons talk radio show that he always listened while working & we would laugh about his political views...I'll always miss the in-depth conversations we share with one another,the laughs we had,the work we shared & the shoulder I had to cry on if needed...I could always confide in Jim if I ever needed to tell him anything personal & he always made the time to listen...these are sad days but u will never be forgotten big bro,u will always be in my heart & always a thought in my head...I hope u met up with Stryker & deer tic on your journey to the heavens...I want my room sky blue wit gold trim bro...Tell we meet again my friend paint the heavens for the rest of us...as for the family I'm truly sorry for your loss & if there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to call me 717-819-7882

So sorry to hear about Jim's passing.
We remember the day Jasmine was born.
We ran into Jim that morning after leaving church and they were headed home from the hospital. We must have been the first to see the new born baby girl .
Now Jim will be the first to see Jesus

There will be no way that anyone will ever forget your playfulness or your funny wit with anyone you came in contact with. My heart is heavy with the very sad news of Jim's passing. I was blessed enough to share in some wonderful memories with him and his kids, from his infamous hugs to him playing guitar and singing all things from hymns to classic zeppelin. His presence was great and never went unnoticed. He is already so greatly missed and I will continue to cherish every hug and song and memory I have of him and with him. My thoughts are with the entire Fabie family as they are always also in my heart.
