Jeanetta Inkrote Obituary

YORK Jeanetta E. (Witta) Inkrote, 89, died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 12:08 p.m. at York Hospital. She was the wife of Preston E. Inkrote, who died on November 30, 1978. There will be no viewing. Following cremation with WorkingerSemmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Prospect Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Sue A. Oelrich, chaplain at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehab, will officiate. Mrs. Inkrote was born December 21, 1920, in York, the daughter of the late Wilbur E. and Anna Marie (Myers) Witta. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, word and jigsaw puzzles and bingo. Mrs. Inkrote is survived by two sons, Gerald E. Inkrote and his wife, Marie of York and Donald E. Inkrote and his wife, Willetta also of York; seven grandchildren, David, Michael, Debbie, Lisa, Edward, Patty and Cathy; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert, and a brother, John Witta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail N., York, PA 17402; or to the Pleasant Acres Women's Auxiliary, 118 Pleasant Acres Rd., York, PA 17402. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 2nd floor staff at York Hospital and the 4th floor nursing staff at Pleasant Acres for their kindness and care. www.workinger-semmel.com
