John P. Bentzel

John Bentzel Obituary

YORK John P. Bentzel, 67, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 14, 2012. Mr. Bentzel was born in York on December 11, 1944, son of the late Parke W. and Ethel P. (Meisenhelter) Bentzel. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was employed by several firms as an electrical engineer. Survivors include a brother, James W. Bentzel and his wife, Rosemary of York; two sisters, Joanne E. Overmiller and her husband, Norman of Dover, and Janis M. Heindel and her husband, William of York; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh).
