OCEAN PINES, MD John C. ''Jack'' Corbitt, 71, died Friday, August 24, 2007, at Coastal Hospice by the Lake, Salisbury, Md. He was the husband of Jeannette R. (LaVoie) Corbitt. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday from the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. Funeral Liturgy will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, with the Rev. Gabriel A. Msoka, A.J., officiating. Burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Cross Roads. Born December 18, 1935, in Baltimore, Md., Jack was the son of the late Edward L. and Mary Catherine (Smith) Corbitt. In addition to his wife, Jeannette, he leaves a daughter, Janine Harney and her husband, Timothy of Stewartstown; a son, John Nilus Corbitt of Parkville, Md.; two grandchildren, Erin Bryant and Kaitlyn Harney; two great-grandchildren, Richard and Joseph Bryant; a sister, Nancy Corbett of Ocean Pines, Md.; and a brother, Donald Corbitt of Catonsville, Md.
