Lenore was a wonderful person I got to know only a couple months ago. In such a short amount of time she made a lasting impression. She was so strong, positive and had a beautiful heart. I truly miss her and I am very glad she had touched my life. Anita

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Wagner's passing. She will be missed greatly by so many. She was my choir teacher at Christian School of York in the mid-80's and had such a great influence on me, not only in the area of music, but in the way she joyously walked out her faith in Christ Jesus. She was truly a soldier and saint for the Kingdom!! My deepest sympathies to her family.

A few days after I heard that Mrs. Wagner had gone home to be with the Lover of her soul, I , who am in South Korea teaching English and singing in the church choir here, recieved my choir music for the next few weeks. One of the first things I noticed was who had arranged this version of the song "Change my Heart oh God." I saw the name, Benjamin Harlan. This was very special because I immediately thought of Mrs. Wagner. She loved arrangements by Benjamin Harlan and we often sang his songs in Choir and Crusader Singers at CSY. I will be remembering Mrs. Wagner and all she taught me academically and spiritually next Sunday when I and about 15 Koreans sing that praise song to our Creator.

Mrs. Lenore Wagner was a woman of character who devoted herself to the service of the Lord through mentoring others and through the gift of music. I have only pleasant memories of her and her delightful personality. Her joy for the Lord and for life in Him was contagious and infected all those she touched, how many, we will only know when we see her again.
What a loss to all who knew her and to those who never had the chance.
All my love and prayers to her precious loved ones. What an awesome legacy we have been entrusted with.
With great sympathy,
Anne (Fabie) Portelles and Family
PS She now sings the Song of the Redeemed for all of eternity!!

I was saddened to hear about Mrs. Wagner's passing! She was my music teacher in HighSchool at CSY. My fondest memory of her is her teaching me how to to talk like "Reba" in the highschool play. I will never forget her smile of approval that she always gave when we (as the choir or Crusader Singers) took a song to the level that she wanted it to be. I can honestly say that she influenced me greatly in my love for music and gave me lots of advice. I respected her so much. I'm headed into the recording studio this month to record my third CD. I will think of her as I sing. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I was priviledged to have had Mrs. Wagners influence in my life at CSY. One of my fondest memories of my high school experience was the senior class play which she helped make possible. I always looked forward to choir practice, concerts and the competitions she directed us in. My deepest sympathies to her family. Michelle

Mrs. Wagner was a true example of selflessness, perserverance, achieving excellence in everything. She was my music teacher, my choir director, Crusader Singer director, directed our senior class play (Class of '88) and was one of our advisors. She was a woman I respected, admired and will miss but know I will see her again! I thank God for her presence and influence in my life!
