Mary Barshinger Obituary

Mary I. (Nagle) Barshinger

York Township - Mary I. (Nagle) Barshinger, 92, of York, passed away at UPMC Memorial on Monday, February 22nd. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Barshinger.

Mrs. Barshinger was born in Wrightsville on February 2, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Holtsinger) Nagle.

Mary worked as a seamstress for the Bernstein Sewing Factory and later at the Hallmark Store. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her three children; daughter, MaryAnn Noll, son, Michael Barshinger and his wife Debra, and Craig Barshinger and his wife Monique. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and her great-great granddaughter. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Barry Barshinger and her son-in-law, Michael Noll.

A graveside service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 1st at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Tanya Brubaker officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.
