Mary Mainolfi Obituary

Mary T. (Kukucka) Mainolfi, 89, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died at 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Mainolfi, Sr. A viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., with a Prayer Service scheduled at 3 p.m., on Friday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church (original church), 315 Constitution Ave., New Freedom. The Rev. Sylvan P. Capitani will officiate. Burial will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, Md. Born April 19, 1915, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Josef and Helen (Zisko) Kukucka. Mrs. Mainolfi was a member of St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Freedom, and a former member of the Shrine of the Little Flower, Baltimore, Md. She was once employed with the former Hoschild-Kohn Department Store in Baltimore for over 25 years. Surviving are two sons, Carl and Joseph Mainolfi, Jr.; a daughter, Angela Mainolfi; nine grandchildren, Vincent, Terri Kutchey, Gina, Christina Hunter, Joseph III, Carol Vitek, Brian, Anthony, Elizabeth Alldredge; and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Rebetsky and Irene Burch; and two brothers, Joseph and Carl Kukucka. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Building Fund, 315 N. Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA 17349.

Sorry to hear the loss of your mother. I worked with Angie with DMJM/KE and know her parents only through the conversations I had with her. May God bless the family at this time of sorrow.
